Brief about Sidlaghatta TMC:-

• Sidlaghatta is a town in chikkaballapur district in the Indian state of Karnataka.  
• Sidlaghatta ULB was started as town municipal council in 1931 and it contains 27 Wards and equal number of councilors.
• The population of the Sidlaghatta town is 50,134 as per the census of 2011.
• The total Area of the city is 5.00 Sq Kms.
• Sidlaghatta is also known as silky town of India. It is identified as a breeding center for silk worms and sericulture industry comprising mainly of reeling, twisting and weaving.
• Sidlaghatta is famous for silk and silk market ,its having many small scale industries producing high quality raw and twisted silkand exports across the country like Tamil Nadu,Addhra Pradesh,Gujarth Etc...,
• Sidlaghatta had a poplation of 50,134,Maes Constitute 52% of the population and female 48%.
• Sidlaghatta town is one of the biggest business centers in chikkaballapur district. The town has got potential for higher growth rate due to its nearness business center in chinthamani and Bangalore, only 70Kms from this town. It is nearer to chikkaballapur, chinthamani and it is located 20Kms from the state highway No.5 and 16Kms for the National highway No.7. 

ಗಣಕೀಕರಣ :- ಶಿಡ್ಲಘಟ್ಟ ಪುರಸಭೆಯ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ ಆಸ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ್ದು ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಗಣಕೀಕರಿಸುವ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಪ್ರಗತಿಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಶೀರ್ಘದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ನಾಗರೀಕರು ಇದರ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯ ಪಡೆಯಬಹುದಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ 1996ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನಿಂದ ಈವರೆವಿಗೂ ಜನನ ಮತ್ತು ಮರಣ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಗಣಕೀಕೃತಗೊಳಿಸಿದ್ದು, ನಾಗರೀಕರು ಜನನ ಮತ್ತು ಮರಣ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಪತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಗದಿತ ಶುಲ್ಕ ಪಾವತಿಸಿ ಪಡೆಯಬಹುದಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಕುಂದುಕೊರತೆ ವಿಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ದೂರುಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಜಿ, ದೂರವಾಣಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅಂತರ್ಜಾಲದ ಮೂಲಕ ನೊಂದಾಯಿಸಿ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಶಿರ್ಘವಾಗಿ ಪರಿಹರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

Computerisation: Sidlaghatta Town Municipal Council limit properties have been identified and details collected and computerization of records under process. Citizens can avail this facility to pay property tax shortly. Birth and Death records available online from the year 1996 to till date. Citizens can make use of this facility to Register and obtain Birth and Death Certificates. Citizens can register complaints through paper, phone and online in public Grievance and Redressal (PGR) Unit in Town Municipal Council for quick Rectification of their needs.
